Isaiah 34:12-14

New International Version

¹² Her nobles will have nothing there to be called a kingdom,
    all her princes^(A) will vanish^(B) away.
¹³ Thorns^(C) will overrun her citadels,
    nettles and brambles her strongholds.^(D)
She will become a haunt for jackals,^(E)
    a home for owls.^(F)
14 Desert creatures^(G) will meet with hyenas,^(H)
    and wild goats will bleat to each other;
there the night creatures^(I) will also lie down
    and find for themselves places of rest.
